In November there are 30- 3= 27 days 

In total there are 25+ 27 = 52 days left until Christmas 

How many weeks are left until Christmas ? 

52 : 7 = 7 weeks and 3 days 

Brian is 10 years old and his brother is 3 years younger . Brian is 14 years old now. How old is his brother ? 

14-3=11 years old 

When Brian is 14 , his brother is half his age . How old is Brian's brother when Brian is 16 ? 

14:2= 7 years old Brian's brother 

16- 7= 9years old 

MULTIPLICATION 

7x 9= sixty-three

5x 8= forty

45: 9=five

81: 9= nine

In a garden there are 4 rows of 9 plum trees. There are also 2 rows with pear trees . In each row of pear- trees there are 8 trees. How many trees are there in the orchard ? 

row = rand 

orchard = livada 

4x 9= 36 plum trees

2x 8= 16 pear trees

36+ 16= 52 trees in total

Your friend has got a box of jellies with 12 little party packets . In each packet there are 6 jellies , He also has 4 bars of chocolate and 3 packets of marshmallows , each with 25 items. How many candies has your friend got ?

72+ 75+ 4=151 candies
